About us...

Every path serves a purpose..... this is one of my favourite sayings, blu-tacked up on the ‘inspiration’ wall next to my desk.   There certainly have been a number of  paths leading us to Ravish Designs.

I made my way here via advertising agencies, children’s fashion retailing, professional photography sales & marketing, just to name a few.  All the time fascinated by the marketing, sales and all important customer skills required in business, having been surrounded by the family business ethos my whole life.  I have always loved jewellery, shiny things and ‘glamming’ up. 

Peter found his way here through software programming and website development, having honed his skills for many years in his own small businesses, again, his family background.    Always looking to run the ‘back end’ of a product-based business, he never believed in a gzillion years, it would be jewellery!

Our career paths eventually came together when we had the opportunity of being the new owners of Ravish Designs, previously a small local business on the northern beaches of Sydney.   I had been wearing a Ravish watch (SW099) for some years and was already somewhat of an Israeli jewellery fan.  We commenced on a steep learning curve and have been constantly rewarded and encouraged by the high standards of our suppliers, beauty and quality of their jewellery and the loyalty and support of our customer base from day one.  What a wonderful world !!  

We currently represent six amazing Israeli jewellery designers, each with their own unique look and feel and each offering their own special magic. Our range features sterling silver, 9 carat gold and gemstones. Necklaces, earrings  , bracelets, watches and rings.   A huge range, covering many price points.  So often we find that the first piece our customer looks at, is the one they eventually come back to..... as my wall says Every path serves a purpose... , so enjoy the path!
