I have six pairs of Ravish Designs earrings and I like them all. Each pair makes me feel good, happy, elegant, different. I put on my earrings every day, it became a sort of a ritual for good luck. I warmly recommend – buy a pair of Ravish Designs earrings – you will feel good.

Ravish Designs showroom story The Evolution of our Ravishing Showroom The time had certainly come for Ravish Designs to have a permanent showroom somewhere on the north shore. After one year of weekly set ups in a small space at The Spare Room in Artarmon, and various markets and school fairs, our jewellery was crying out for a more glamorous place to live than a trestle table. So, the search began. We didn’t want a shopfront, as we know that our customers come through the website or word of mouth. A decent sized office with a showroom area was what we were after. We ‘kissed a lot of frogs’, and discovered that a council D.A. was needed to trade from an office. This eliminated quite a few possibilities, until we discovered a wonderful space in our old stomping ground of West Lindfield. In the West Lindfield Shops, directly above the little supermarket that we used to visit regularly for ice creams after the kids were picked up from pre-school. A wonderfully large area (65 sq m) with lots of natural light, the possibilities were endless ! The leasing agent was fabulous, as was the landlord, so details proceeded smoothly. So, we set about applying for our D.A., which took only a month, then started the fun stuff of decorating. ‘A Bedouin Tent’ was the image we wanted. Somewhere that didn’t feel like a shop, a space where sterling silver Israeli jewellery was displayed, but that was only part of the emotion. Atmosphere was certainly needed to reflect the thousands of years of history this jewellery represents. Painting was first on the list. ‘Old Rose’ and ‘Clamshell’ were chosen, with ‘Maize’ the colour of the draped ceiling. Many hours were spent planning and draping, blood, sweat and tears (of joy) were expelled over 3 l-o-n-g days, but the result was amazing. Add 1 gypsy chandelier, Persian rug, comfy lounge, restored second hand furniture, mirrors, room dividers, display cabinets off a horror movie set , flowers and jewellery and the scene is set! What fun we had creating this space! We signed the lease of a beige room on April 21, 2008. and launched the ever-so glamorous Ravish Designs Showroom with a Cocktail Event on May 29, 2008, and an Grand Opening Shopping Weekend on May 31 & June 1. Our showroom is now infused with wonderful energies from family, friends and enthusiastic customers. Come in and enjoy it with us!
